The concert ukulele is slightly larger (23" inches) than the soprano ukulele (21" inches).
This gives it new characteristics: the body of the instrument is larger, so we gain resonance (volume) achieving a warmer and more serious tone without losing the classic ukulele sound.
Also, with a longer neck we have more space between the frets and it is much more comfortable to play for people with a larger hand size.
